Description
Probably the period of greatest change in 20th century fashion took place between the two world wars. Women finally threw off the tyranny of the corset, heavy skirts and layers of underwear to embrace the freedom of 1920s and 30s styles. And Paris designers enjoyed creating looks inspired by new art movements such as Art Deco and Surrealism.
